Fischer Farm 4-H Club Open House

4‑H is America’s largest youth development organization. Millions of students participate in 4H clubs and programs around the country each year. 4H in Illinois is facilitated by the University of Illinois Extension Program. Children complete hands-on projects in areas like health, science, agriculture and civic engagement in a positive environment where they receive guidance from adult mentors and are encouraged to take on leadership roles. The Fischer Farm 4H Club enables children to purchase their own farm animal, such as a sheep, goat or a pig, and keep that farm animal at Fischer Farm. The kids will study the animal husbandry of their chosen animal, learn animal care from farm staff and participate in a juried animal show at the DuPage County Fair.
