Fischer Farm camps offer fun, learning for kids

Bensenville, Ill. (February 3, 2025)— The Bensenville Park District invites children to experience hands-on fun and educational activities at Fischer Farm with two exciting camps scheduled for President’s Day and Spring Break. These half-day programs, designed for kids ages 6-10, offer creative activities, crafts, and farm-themed exploration.

The President’s Day Off Camp takes place from 8:30 a.m. to noon on Monday, Feb. 17, at Fischer Farm, located at 16W680 Old Grand Avenue in Bensenville. Campers will enjoy a morning filled with creative arts and crafts, interactive activities, and more. Families are reminded to send their child with a peanut-free snack, a water bottle, and clothes and shoes that can get muddy.

The Spring Break Farm Camp, running from 8:30 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, April 2, provides an opportunity for kids to celebrate the changing season. Participants will engage in games, crafts, and animal encounters while exploring the joys of spring on the farm. To fully enjoy the experience, kids should bring a nut-free snack, a water bottle, shoes suitable for muddy conditions, and a spare pair of indoor shoes.

Registration fees are $39 per camp, with a discounted rate of $29 for in-district residents. Space is limited, and advance registration is required at least one week prior to the start of each camp. Interested families can sign up at the Deer Grove Leisure Center, located at 1000 W. Wood Street, Bensenville.
