Bensenville, Ill.—Bensenville’s got talent, and the Bensenville Park District is excited to showcase that talent at its first-ever open mic night on Thursday, May 26. The event will take place from 5 to 7:30 p.m. in the Oak Room at the Deer Grove Leisure Center, located at 1000 W. Wood Street.
The open mic night is open to performers of all talents ages 16 and older. Whether it’s singing, playing an instrument or reading original works, the Bensenville Park District is seeking participants. The event is $5 at the door and open to the public, with no pre-registration required. Refreshments will be provided.
“We’re excited to provide an opportunity for our community to showcase their talents at our first-ever open mic night,” says Cultural Arts Supervisor Faith Hollander. “We can’t wait to see the diverse range of performances that will be shared.”
In addition to performers, the open mic night is also open to those who simply want to come and enjoy the show. Children are welcome to attend if accompanied by an adult, but performers must be at least 16 years old.
