With classes ranging from beginner theater, dance, and music to unique bonding experiences for toddlers and caretakers, there’s something for everyone to enjoy starting the last week of January.

Highlights of the revamped offerings include:

• Theatre Foundations: Introduces students to acting fundamentals, from improvisation to character building.
• Dance Medley: Provides a fun introduction to ballet, tap and hip-hop for aspiring dancers.
• Beginner Ballroom: Adults can explore popular social dances and ballroom techniques, no partner required.
• Music Classes: Beginners can learn piano, guitar and voice basics in a supportive group setting.
• Toddler & Me Series: Engaging art, music and dance classes for toddlers and caretakers to enjoy together while fostering early motor skills and creativity.

“Art and culture play a crucial role in community development, and we’re excited to offer programs that bring families together while nurturing individual talents,” says Bensenville Park District Cultural & Fine Arts Supervisor Kaitlyn Whitehead, noting a successful community talent show on January 18. “These classes provide a welcoming and enriching space for participants to grow their skills and explore their passions.”

Two sessions are available; Session 1 begins the last week of January, and session 2 starts mid-April.

Program fees vary, with some offering drop-in options for added flexibility. Registration is now open at the Deer Grove Leisure Center, 1000 W. Wood St., Bensenville. Patrons are encouraged to sign up one week prior to the start of each session.
