Under the Sun Summer Camps is a selection of specialized camps made to cater to your child’s unique interests. During each exciting day campers will participate in a wide variety of engaging games, projects, crafts, and of course, daily swim time at the water park. Camp curriculums emphasize socialization through child-led play which lays the foundation for learning and academic success. Staff is trained in CPR, AED, First Aid, and Behavior Management. Campers receive a day camp t-shirt during the first week of camp; camp shirts must be worn on field trips. Please read the camp policy manual for details about what your child should bring and wear to camp.
Free Healthy Lunch Program
Adventure, Sports and Teen Camp participants receive a free healthy lunch provided by the Northern Illinois Food Bank. Lunch menus will be available the week before camp starts. The free lunch program is optional. Campers may choose to bring a lunch.
Campers experience a fun adventurous summer filled with cool crafts, games, new discoveries about their surroundings, fantastic field trips, afternoon swim time, and nature exploration. Adventure Camp emphasizes making new friends, trying new activities and having fun.
All skill levels are welcome. The focus of this camp is having fun, learning good sportsmanship, learning new skills and developing and improving skills in sports such as hockey, soccer, softball, basketball, volleyball and other fun sports. In the afternoon we swim and enjoy a variety of exciting field trips. (LS)
Take on the role of a Jr. Camp Leader. Responsibility, respect, and cooperation are emphasized. Teens will enjoy interesting crafts, cool games, and sports. Afternoon swim time, exciting field trips and opportunities to help lead the younger camps in activities will also be a part of this awesome summer experience. Teens also have their own exclusive field trips!
Come to Fischer Farm for this fun, exciting summer camp. Each day we’ll be going on fun adventures and explore historical places including Churchville Schoolhouse, neighboring historical museums and living history farms. We’ll also be spending time at the Bensenville Water Park. Space is limited, so make sure to sign up early! Campers are to bring a lunch to camp everyday.
Forester Camp introduces children to nature through camping. Each morning campers will learn about an important outdoor skill, such as how to pitch a tent, knot tying, and building a campfire; while having fun! At the end of each session our campers will get the chance to apply the skills they learned during a camping trip at Fischer Farm from Thursday night to Friday morning.
Before and/or After Camp Care
Drop your child off early for morning activities, games, and crafts at Before Camp Care. And extend your child’s fun to include additional crafts, more games, and activities at After Camp Care. A healthy snack and a beverage are provided in After Camp Care. Campers are escorted directly to their camps from the Before & After Camp program. A custom care option is available for campers who need less than five days a week.
