Bensenville, Ill. (September 30, 2024)— The Bensenville Park District is inviting the community to attend a series of public information sessions in mid-October to learn about upcoming and ongoing capital projects planned for fall 2024 and beyond. These sessions will provide residents an opportunity to engage directly with park district leadership, ask questions and offer feedback on the projects.
The first information session will take place during the Bensenville Park District Board meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 16, at the Deer Grove Leisure Center, 1000 W. Wood Street in Bensenville. This session will provide a general overview of all upcoming capital improvements across the park district.
Additionally, on Saturday, October 19, residents can participate in more detailed sessions at several park locations:
- 9 a.m. at Fischer Farm, 16W680 Old Grand Avenue, Bensenville
- 11 a.m. at Sunrise Park Shelter, at the intersection of Marion and Memorial Streets, Bensenville
- 1 p.m. at Veterans Park, at the intersection of Main Street and Church Road, Bensenville
The sessions are designed to keep the community informed about significant projects aimed at enhancing local parks and recreational facilities, ensuring transparency and fostering public engagement in the district’s development plans.
