Park district to update residents regarding status of capital plan at DGLC Gym

The Bensenville Park District will be hosting a real-time update on the initiative to improve Bensenville’s parks and amenities under it’s Bensenville Park District 2.0 capital plan from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 25, at the Deer Grove Leisure Center Gym, 1000 W. Wood St., Bensenville.
The hour-long information session is intended to be informational in nature. Park district leaders will provide background information, explain the process and timelines of any potential projects and update residents on the means it is taking to gather input used to make decisions.
The district has identified millions of dollars of repairs and improvements needed throughout the park system and is developing a plan to address these issues in addition to making improvements to program and activity offerings and customer experience.
