Badge Programs & Workshops
Work toward your badges with the Bensenville Park District! Each program takes 1.5 hours and will fulfill most or all the requirements for one of the badges listed. Rates are per troop. Schedule your program today!
Farm Chores
Explore the fun-filled world of farm animal care and chores on a working farm! Lend a hand and work directly with Fischer Farm staff. Learn what farmers do every day to care for the animals and grow crops. Tasks vary with the season but will always involve feeding the farm animals.
Shear Sheep
Shearing sheep is a normal part of the animal care routine, just like getting a haircut. Get up close and personal with farm staff and professional sheep shearer Lisa Carpenter of Kline Creek Farm as they shear the sheep for summer! Then make a sheep craft using the wool.
4-H
Discover a personalized 4-H journey for kids aged 8-18, where they can explore new interests through workshops. Join Fischer 4-H Club for a sense of belonging, engage in community service projects, develop leadership skills and make friends while having fun and giving back.
