For our little ones, every experience for them is a learning opportunity. Our goal here at the Bensenville Park District is yes, to make sure they learn something new, but also have a blast doing so. We offer a variety of programs so something is guaranteed to peak their interest – sign them up to come have fun, learn something new, and make new friends.

Story Time at the Nature Nook

Join a naturalist from the BPD for read-along stories, songs, and more during this fun program for children from infancy to age 5.

Behind the Scenes Animal Care

Explore the fun-filled world of animal care. Learn how the BPD keeps our animal friends healthy and content while assisting with the daily tasks of an Animal Caretaker. This experience includes a behind the scenes look at feeding and watering animals, cleaning enclosures, and an introduction into the proper lighting, heating, and humidity of each animal.

Learning Ladders

Offering a variety of learning experiences, these classes are designed to meet the needs and the development level of your child. All of the activities and lessons align with Illinois early childhood standards.

Messy Mondays

Messy Mondays allows children and their parents to experiment with a variety of art materials, including: finger paint, stamps, modeling clay, scissors, glue, and more. Children will use fine motor skills, and experience a variety of tools.
