Bensenville, Ill.— The Bensenville Park District invites the community to a memorable outdoor movie experience when it presents the enchanting Disney film, “Encanto,” at dusk on Saturday, June 10, at DiOrio Park, located at the intersection of Memorial and Barron in Bensenville.
The event is the second in the five-film movie in the park series, a beloved tradition that brings neighbors and families together for an evening of entertainment under the stars. The visually stunning and heartwarming film “Encanto” follows the May 13 drive-in movie presentation of “Happy Gilmore” at White Pines Golf Club, and it will be followed by a presentation of “Sonic the Hedgehog 2” at Varble Park July 15, the dive-in movie presentation of “Jaws” on August 5 at the Bensenville Water Park and the movie at the farm presentation of “Puss in Boots: The Last Wish” at Fischer Farm August 26.
“Encanto,” the latest Disney animated feature, tells the extraordinary story of the Madrigal family, who live in a magical town in Colombia. Filled with captivating music and captivating characters, this film has captured the hearts of audiences around the world.
DiOrio Park provides a picturesque outdoor setting for families to relax and enjoy the movie. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets to create a cozy and comfortable viewing experience. Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to purchase refreshments on-site to satisfy their cravings during the movie.
