Park district offers residents, businesses chance to adopt a snowman

Snowmen to be displayed at Fischer Farm through December 31

Bensenville, Ill.— The Bensenville Park District is giving local residents and businesses a chance to adopt a four foot snowman to be displayed through the month of December at Fischer Farm, 16W680 Grand Avenue, Bensenville.

“Who wants to decorate another Christmas Tree?” asks Manager of Facilities and Special Events Todd Linder. “Why not decorate a snowman that is guaranteed not to melt?”

After paying the $5 adoption fee at the Deer Grove Leisure Center, a snowman will be available to decorate from November 23 to December 3. Each snowman will be displayed at the Farmside Christmas and tree lighting from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, December 4, and will remain at Fischer Farm throughout December for all to enjoy. The deadline to adopt is Wednesday, November 23.

Visit BvilleParks.org for more information about adopting a snowman, Farmside Christmas or other park district holiday programs.
