Clubhouse before- and after-school program participants get discount in days off school program
Bensenville, Ill.— The Bensenville Park District is offering its Clubhouse Days off School program, providing parents and guardians a reliable and engaging child care solution for children ages 5 to 12 on school holidays, institute days and in-service days in addition to before- and after-school care programs.
The Clubhouse Days off School program extends from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., with the convenience of drop-off and pick-up taking place at the Maple Room located within the Deer Grove Leisure Center. Parents can rest assured that their children will be well taken care of during these extended hours, with a variety of enriching activities planned to keep young minds engaged.
“We understand the challenges faced by working parents on days when schools are closed. Our Clubhouse Days off School program aims to provide a safe and supportive environment where children can make new friends, learn and have a blast,” says Bensenville Park District Recreation Supervisor Leslie Monarrez.
To participate in the program, parents are requested to ensure that their children arrive by 9 a.m. each day, and they should pack a sack lunch and a water bottle. The Bensenville Park District is proud to maintain a peanut-free zone, ensuring the safety of all participants with food allergies. Additionally, breakfast and an afternoon snack will be thoughtfully provided.
The program fees for the Clubhouse Days off School program are $65 per day ($55 per day for those within Bensenville Park District boundaries) and $45 per day for Clubhouse Before and After School care participants.
Clubhouse Before and After School programs allow children to participate in a wide variety of structured and unstructured activities. Indoor and outdoor learning experiences feature fun, recreational activities that include group games, sporting and fitness activities and nature exploration in addition to time for relaxation, reading and homework completion. Before school care runs 7-8:15 a.m. and after school care runs 3:30-6 p.m. in the Maple Room, Deer Grove Leisure Center (DGLC), 1000 W. Wood Street in Bensenville.
With affordable rates and flexible options, the Bensenville Park District is committed to accommodating families of all backgrounds and ensuring accessible child care services for the community. Fees vary by month and number of days per week enrolled.
Registration begins Tuesday, Aug. 8, at the DGLC. Families are encouraged to secure their spots early, as availability is limited.
