Bensenville, Ill.— The Bensenville Park District is looking for a few more teams to join its summer co-ed volleyball league. This exciting league will provide a competitive and fun environment for volleyball enthusiasts of all skill levels.
League matches will take place on Friday evenings from 6:30 to 9 p.m. during the months of June and July, beginning June 2. All league contests will take place at the Deer Grove Leisure Center Gymnasium, 1000 W. Wood Street, Bensenville.
The league is designed to offer participants an enjoyable and challenging volleyball experience and features a rally scoring format and match play with three games per night.
The co-ed volleyball league teams consist of six players, with a registration fee of $350 per team. Participants can form their own teams or sign up individually to be placed on a team by the Bensenville Park District.
To ensure fair and professional officiating, matches will be officiated by Illinois High School Association (IHSA) referees. The league emphasizes both friendly competition and camaraderie, providing an excellent opportunity for players to showcase their skills while building lasting relationships with fellow volleyball enthusiasts.
Cash prizes will be awarded to the regular season champions as well as the postseason champions. This adds an extra layer of excitement and motivation for teams to give their best effort and vie for the top spot in the league.
