Register now for new Bensenville Park District art class

Bensenville, Ill.— The Bensenville Park District invites those ages 16 and older to get into the holiday spirit with its “Holiday Round Wood Sign” class, a creative opportunity to add a personal touch to their seasonal décor. The art class runs on three consecutive Mondays, from November 20 to December 4, with sessions scheduled from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Deer Grove Leisure Center Art Room.

Under the guidance of an experienced and skilled art instructor, participants will embark on a three-class series. During these sessions, attendees will learn the art of painting and personalizing a 12-inch round wood sign, perfect for enhancing front doors, porches or any room in preparation for the holiday season. The class also includes instruction on adding finishing touches using ribbons and floral elements.

Registration for this festive art class is open at the Deer Grove Leisure Center, located at 1000 W. Wood Street in Bensenville, until 5 p.m. on Wednesday, November 15. The class fee is $60, with a reduced rate of $45 for those residing within the park district boundaries.

“The Bensenville Park District encourages residents to seize this unique opportunity to ignite their creativity and welcome the holidays with personalized decorations that will infuse warmth and charm into their homes throughout the festive season,” says Superintendent of Recreation Leslie DeMoss.
