Promotions, ticket giveaways to begin week of Sept. 25
The Bensenville Park District announced it is partnering with WERV-FM 95.9 The River as a media sponsor for Harvest Fest, September 30-October 2, at Fischer Farm, 16W680 Grand Avenue, Bensenville.
The on-air promotion will include weekday ticket giveaways for a family four-pack of Harvest Fest tickets beginning Monday, September 26.
“We are excited to have partnered with FM 95.9 The River and Alpha Media, its parent company, to promote Harvest Fest 2022 and expose their audience to the three days of fun-filled activities and live music,” says Executive Director Joseph Vallez. “Their support, along with that of Grand Subaru, is key in helping us spread the word and elevate this event to an audience that aligns well with festival-goers we are trying to attract.”
WERV-FM is a classic rock radio station that plays songs spanning from the early 1970s through the mid-1990s. The station serves the west suburban Chicago market and is owned by Alpha Media. Seven musical acts will perform over three days of Harvest Fest, performing musical hits largely from the 1980s and 90s.
Harvest Fest is slated to have seven live music performers over three days in addition to family-friendly activities, fresh food and a beer garden. Harvest Fest hours are 4-8 p.m. Friday, September 30, 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday, October 1, and 11:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Sunday, October 2.
