Watch the boys of summer with Bensenville Park District specials

Take Me Out to the BallgameBensenville, Ill.—The Bensenville Park District is offering a special deal for those interested in the fun and excitement of minor league baseball, beginning 6 p.m. Saturday, May 20, when the Schaumburg Boomers host the Windy City Thunderbolts.

Tickets for the May 20 game purchased at BvilleParks.org/baseball are $26 and include a hot dog, chips and small beverage. Transportation to Wintrust Field, 1999 S. Springinsguth Rd., Schaumburg, and parking are not included.

Additionally, those age 21 and older may attend any of two Kane County Cougars games that include transportation. Tickets for the June 21 game against the Chicago Dogs and July 12 game against the Gary Southshore Railcats are $20 each ($15 for those living within Bensenville Park District boundaries) and include transportation, a hot dog, chips and soda. Advance reservations are required for the games, which start at 11:30 a.m. (bus departs at 10 a.m.). Purchase at the Deer Grove Leisure Center, 1000 W. Wood Street, or call 630-766-7015 at least three weeks in advance of each game.
