Bensenville, Ill.— The Bensenville Park District is offering three exciting new corn hole events, bringing together the joy of friendly competition and delectable food in picturesque settings. For those unfamiliar with the game, corn hole—also known as bag toss or bags—is a popular lawn game where players take turns throwing bags filled with corn kernels or beans at a raised platform with a hole in it.
The fun begins Saturday, August 19, when Varble Park transforms into a lively and inviting venue for Burgers & Bags from noon to 2 p.m. Enjoy mouthwatering grilled burgers, sides and refreshing beverages while engaging in corn hole matches.
Then, head over to Sunrise Park from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, August 26, for Corn Roast & Corn Hole. Delight in tasting delicious roasted corn while testing corn hole skills with friendly competitions in a scenic atmosphere.
Join the excitement at Sunset Park from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, September 23, with Corn Hole & Cannolis. Indulge in the popular Italian dessert while engaging in thrilling corn hole matches.
“Experience the thrill of corn hole while enjoying delicious food in our picturesque parks,” says Bensenville Park District Recreation Supervisor Breana Aponte. “These events are perfect for bringing people together to create lasting memories and friendly competition. Join us for a day of fun and camaraderie!”
Those ages 17 and older are welcome gather, savor great food and partake in fun and competitive corn hole competitions at each event. Fees are $25, with a discounted rate of $20 for those living within the park district boundaries. To participate in the Burgers & Bags, Corn Roast & Corn Hole and Corn Hole & Cannolis events, please register at the Deer Grove Leisure Center, located at 1000 W. Wood Street, Bensenville.
