Bensenville, Ill.—The Bensenville Water Park & Splash Pad will have a “DJ on the Deck” Saturday, June 11, one of the many special events at the facility, located at 1100 W. Wood Street in Bensenville.
“We’ll have a DJ spinning all your favorite tunes and summer vibes for a couple hours in the afternoon and leading patrons in fun activities,” says Bensenville Park District Manager of Facilities and Special Events Todd Linder. “You won’t want to miss it!”
The “DJ on the Deck” runs from noon to 2 p.m., and entertainment will be provided by Glen David Productions. According to the website, the company’s entertainers “provide fun for children of all ages—even the kid who still resides in the adult.”
The water park opens at noon and closes at 7 p.m. The event is free for all season pass holders. Otherwise, daily weekend admission rates apply. From noon to 5 p.m., fees are $13 for adults aged 18 and older and $10 for those 3-17. General admission is only $7 for all after 5 p.m., and children aged 2 and under are free. General information about the water park—including season passes, daily rates and lessons—can be found on the water park website, BvilleParks.org/waterpark.
The event is one of nine special activities at the water park this summer that are part of the Bensenville Park District’s Park n’ Play initiative. For more information about Park n’ Play activities, including a schedule of events sortable by date, park and activity, may be found on the park district website, BvilleParks.org/park-n-play.
